Website already redirect to HTTPS

Hi,

I have a domain and all of my subdomains are redirecting to https.

I already inactivate the config “Always Use HTTPS”, but it keep redirecting to https.

How I stop it and keep http in some subdomains?

Can you give an example link?

Firstly, it is very good that HTTP is automatically redirected to HTTPS so that the connection is always encrypted wherever possible.

I know this automatic redirection as the content of the “.htaccess” file, which looks like this:

<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>

RewriteEngine On

RewriteRule (.*) https://%{HTTP_HOST}/$1 [R301,L]

</IfModule>

Hi SJR,

This is an example:

http://debug.lucasmattos.dev:8080/

This always redirect to HTTPS, and I dont want it because this subdomain its for test/debug.

Hi uwe.posselt,

Accordingly, but my subdomain is for test/debug my app.

I dont want to use SSL to debug/test app.

Unknow subdomains also redirect to HTTPS, try it: http:abcd.lucasmattos.dev (this not exists on my DNS Config, but also redirect to HTTPS)

You won’t be able to that with a dev. domain. That TLD is on the HSTS preload list which means that web browsers will only connect to dev. domains using HTTPS. This is not a new development. It has been in effect for at least six years.
