Webmail being blocked by Cloudflare

Hello! Grateful there’s a community here to support me! I created a website for some friends, unpaid since I don’t really have the kind of skills to ask for money. They wanted to have webmail so they could all log into the accounts they wanted setting up and share the work that way. They were happy enough to use the webmail provided via my hosting service’s CPanel, ugly though it was, so all was going well.

Until Thursday, when Cloudflare stopped them logging in with a server timeout. The rest of the site is perfectly accessible. It’s just when it goes to **MYDOMAIN.COM**:2096/..../3rdparty/roundcube/index

I get a 524 error. My hosting company, who I love, swear it’s not them. I went to my Wordpress and deactivated Cloudflare to see if they’d get in temporarily with it down…and the problem persists. So, I don’t know what to do next. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Hi SerenityNow
I also have something like the same issue. I am finding that outgoing emails are working fine (IF I can get into Roundcube, which around 80% of the time returns a 524 error), but incoming emails are being returned to sender as
" SMTP error from remote mail server after RCPT TO:<[email address](mailto:email address)>:
550 5.1.1 Address does not exist."
I have also contacted my Hosting Company who are adamant that there is no issues on their end and that no support tickets are being sent in regards email connectivity.
This issue has arisen recently, as I have been using Cloudflare successfully for well over a year without issues and have touched no settings in that time, with emails having no issues.
Even if we could remove emails from Cloudflare until issues are addressed, at least we could operate our email systems. Can anyone please advise how this can be done ?
