Web pages using images hosted on cloudflare are slow

I have a website where most images are stored locally but decided to move a selection of images to Cloudflare to compare.

The pages that have a Cloudflare hosted image on them are slow to load and its creating warnings from our seo software.

For context I am using the DeDmytro/laravel-Cloudflare-images package

Is there anything I can do?

Hi, can you define slow in numbers?

Sure, the pages with Cloudflare images take between 10-12 seconds to load compared with 1-2 seconds for the rest of the site.
