I currently have a nameserver active but i received an email stating " We could not add the website [website] to your account because your nameservers (NS) are not yet pointing to Cloudflare."

I had
ada ns Cloudflare com
braden ns Cloudflare com

Active

But it’s telling me to switch to:

colin ns Cloudflare com
miki ns Cloudflare com

Why suddenly do i need to change it? Sorry might be a little dumb question

Usually because you have added the domain to multiple different Cloudflare accounts, or because you set the name servers before adding the domain to your Cloudflare account.

What is the domain?
