We are under DDoS attack, the PRO plan can help?

We currently have Cloudflare’s free plan.
Since 5 hours we are under a DDoS attack.
We have applied WAF rules for specific continents, countries and IPs, however we cannot mitigate the attack.

I would like to know if upgrading to the $20 pro plan can help us resolve the attack.
We have also tried to contact Cloudflare support but have not received a response.

I appreciate any help.

The PRO plan won’t improve DDoS protection, but you might find this guide useful:
