WARP tunnel disconnects when screen turns off after locking the device

What is the name of the domain?

N/A (not domain-related, WARP client issue on Windows)

What is the error number?

None

What is the error message?

No error message shown. WARP silently disconnects.

What is the issue you’re encountering

After updating to WARP version 2025.2.600.0 (and also tested 2025.2.664.0), the WARP tunnel disconnects automatically when the computer is locked and the screen turns off (due to power settings or timeout). The connection resumes once I move tafter rolling back to an older version, the issue is completely gone.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

Tried both stable versions: 2025.2.600.0 and 2025.2.664.0

Changed power settings (network adapter sleep, display timeout, etc.)

Reinstalled the WARP client

Rolled back to a previous version — issue is resolved there

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

Install WARP version 2025.2.600.0 or 2025.2.664.0 on Windows 11

Lock the computer using Win+L

Wait until the display turns off (e.g. after 1–2 minutes due to power settings)

WARP tunnel disconnects silently

Move the mouse / press a key → tunnel reconnects immediately
