WARP: Traffic from ICN is often through Hong Kong

On the Korea Telecom line where only LAX was available after May 2020, WARP ICN was available today, so I checked the route, but ping is strange.

We can see hkix cloudflare in the looking class of SAKURA INTERNET, which has AS2497 IIJ as its main transit.

As in May 2020, the route through NTT Korea and Telstra Korea is in good condition.

I wonder when it will be fixed.

I don’t see a ping, what problem do you have? If it’s that router hardware chooses not to response to a traceroute, that’s not a problem, it’s pretty common and doesn’t negatively impact performance.

Does your actual performance when visiting sites seem better or worse?

For warp free accounts, the use of 1.1.1.1 WARP is slow proportionally to ICMP PING.

Just checked and the fact WARP+ or WARP was not turned on is much faster on news.yahoo.co.jp
Ping rise more than double.

I feel strange that path to cloudflare ICN through cloudflare (like 198.41.140.80, direct AS13335) that was not in May 2020 is strange.
