WARP on Android, "Manage excluded apps" option missing suddenly

What is the issue you’re encountering

The option in “Settings > Advanced > Connection option > Manage excluded apps” has disapeared. I am the sole user of my configuration and I used the “manage excluded apps” to exclude things like wireless Android Auto (which can not work with WARP), Plex and other things. I have set those apps as excluded a few days ago and all was working fine. This morning when I got into my car I received the VPN warning in Android Auto and when I went to the settings of WARP, the whole page about excluding apps is gone. I haven’t changed any settings in the Zero Trust page, nor in the WARP application.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I have tried finding if there is any new setting in Zero Trust that activated automatically to remove this needed feature. I have reinstalled the WARP app. I have tried with various changes like being on mobile data or home wifi or another wifi, the option is just not there anymore. The “Manage excluded routes” is there, but that is not what I need.

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

Not sure, I haven’t modified any settings in either Zero Trust or in the WAPR app.

Noted the same myself – seems to be a relatively recent change.

One other thing to mention. If you install the old 1.1.1.1 WARP app instead of the new One Agent app, you do actually see the “manage excluded apps” option, that is untill you login into Zero Trust, then the option dissapears again. This is not a actual solution as “WARP authentication identity” will obviously not work while not being logged it.

This is making WARP quite useless on Android, as e.g. Google Photos can no longer backup over wifi, so I have to just disable WARP entirely.
