I am trying to find out if there is any way to set the DNS suffix in windows for a Cloudflare zero trust connected via WARP. I have local domain fallback configured which works good but ideally there would be an option to set DNS suffix on the interface also. The DNS suffix can be set in the CloudflareWARP interface in windows when the client is connected but once you disconnect and reconnect it clears. Example: Currently DC.domain.local resolves thanks to local domain fallback but DC does not due to the missing DNS suffix. Am I out of luck on this?
While the WARP client provides various configuration options, including Local Domain Fallback and Split Tunnels:
We don’t see any settings for DNS suffix. Therefore, any manual configuration of the DNS suffix on the WARP interface may be reset upon disconnection and reconnection.
