Hey there,
I’m using this domain with M365. Also I want now to use the Cloudflare Homeassistant Add-on. For this iI need to migrate my dns.
I changed the following things shown in the picture. Also I received the mail by inwx, that everything was changed.
Do I need to change furthermore?

Best regards

Are the two nameservers from your screenshot the ones mentioned in your Cloudflare account?

Yes.

Can you click the re-check button? The domain seems to be properly configured.

I pressed the button. The text says I need to wait a few hours.

It is active now, but you have disabled encryption on Cloudflare and need to fix this. Make sure your encryption mode is Full Strict.

Thanks!
I changed the settings in the dashboard SSL/TLS to strict.

Pleasure, just make sure that you have configured the right IP address and that your server is properly set up, because right now it still throws an error.

I enabled the server right now. Everything works like a charme. Are there more security settings than the SSL/TLS feature? Right now I’m working on DNSSEC, but is there more?

The most important part really is the encryption mode, because if that is not Full Strict, you have no encryption.

DNSSEC can certainly be added, but is not a must. You can also tweak things like SSL version, but that also depends on your use case. Take a look at Overview · Cloudflare SSL/TLS docs

Only thing, while it does not necessarily need to be an issue, you are still probably in violation of the terms of service and that might get your account suspended. Cloudflare is intended for typical websites, not storage devices. If there is no significant volume of traffic, that might not be an issue, but you should know it.

Okay that solves my issue, thank you really much! I’ll further investigate the security features.
In terms of service; I just want to access my HA instance, which is a website, externally. No huge data/videos/etc. will be shared.

Best regards and have a great weekend!
