Hello,

I am trying to create a rule to prevent bots from visiting a specific URL / Directory but I am not sure if this is the correct way of doing it since it is not working.

We want to stop this BOT from visiting a specific URL / Directory: https://jobsfornationals.com/abs/*

IP: 207.46.13.150 Hostname: msnbot-207-46-13-150.search.msn.com

Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; bingbot/2.0; +http://www.bing.com/bingbot.htm)

You are splitting up the user agent to much. It should just be Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; bingbot/2.0; +http://www.bing.com/bingbot.htm)

Is the URI correct? We don’t want bots going to the ABS folder.

Yes that should do it.

None of this is working. The bots are still hitting the same directory folder.

just use this part of user agent and create firewall rule

uri full

contain
http://www.bing.com/bingbot.htm
block
