WAF and DNS Only

Let’s suppose I have these settings settings settings :

• prod.domain.com → DNS Only ( Gray Cloud)
• staging.domain.com → DNS and HTTP Proxy CDN ( Orange Cloud)

If I go through Firewall and activate the Web Application Firewall ( WAF), will it only apply to the “staging” or it will be applied as well on “prod” even if not using CDN Proxy ?

The former. Everything not routed through Cloudflare cant be managed by them.
