What is the name of the domain?

Subdomain.MyDomain.com:2087

What is the error number?

400

What is the error message?

The plain HTTP request was sent to HTTPS port

What is the issue you’re encountering

I can’t get Subdomain.MyDomain.com:2087 to redirect from HTTP to HTTPS

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

Several things:

  • I have the connection to the server set up as ‘SSL/TLS encryption: Full (strict)’
  • I have the edge certificate set to ‘Always Use HTTPS’
  • I’ve tried several ways to set up Rules to redirect from HTTP to HTTPS and come up short

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

When I go to my subdomain URL it’s not forwarding from HTTP to HTTPS

I forgot to mention that the subdomain is proxied in the DNS settings area.

A port can either support HTTP or HTTPS, they can’t do both. Port 2087 is HTTPS so error 400 is expected if you talk HTTP to it…
