I’m unable to renew SSL certificate for logging into plesk.

I need to set up the VM so that A record doesn’t go through the Cloudflare IP, it should point directly to my server’s IP address.

However, when I change this record so that the VM is pointing directly to my servers IP I get a warning message telling that this will expose my sites IP address and I need to set up a proxy.

All suggestions appreciated.

If you’re sure that’s what you want, then it’s ok. It’s just a warning for those who think they’re hiding their IP address, but are accidentally exposing it through another record.

Yes, unfortunately there is no other way around it.

Will this affect my sites performance or security in anyway?
