Visitors getting repeated bot challenges

What is the issue you’re encountering

Some genuine visitors are suddenly getting repeated bot challenges, from multiple locations. They have to fill it in multiple times, but then on repeat visits to the site they get it again. I’ve tried to turn off Bot Fight Mode in the settings but it still persists. They only want to stop it is to turn Cloudflare proxy off.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

Attempted to turn off Super Bot Fight Mode (I have Pro plan) using bot settings.

Was the site working with SSL prior to adding it to Cloudflare?

Browse https://praxis42.com - I don’t ever see the challenge but others do.

Check your security events log for challenges (best if you have a user request time or ray ID so you can locate specific requests) and look up the reason for the challenge there…

Use only “Full (strict)” to ensure Cloudflare validates your origin SSL certificate so everything is fully secured.
