Hi all! I’m wondering if there is any list of supported languages for video captions/subtitles. It seems like it is not possible to use some languages like Aragonese (an) or Afar (aa), and we would like to filter out those unsupported codes.

This is a very good question, I am glad you asked. Following up with the stream team on this.
Did you need help with anything else when adding captions or do you just need to know the supported languages/language codes?
We use IANA Registry for supported languages. You can find these here: https://www.iana.org/assignments/language-subtag-registry/language-subtag-registry

For convenience, the most common language codes are provided at the bottom of this document. If the language you are adding isn’t included in the table, you can find the value through the The IANA registry (https://www.iana.org/assignments/language-subtag-registry/language-subtag-registry), which maintains a list of language codes
Checking against IANA I see the following
Type: language
Subtag: an
Description: Aragonese

We’ve been already using IANA language subtags, but it seems that some languages such as Afar or Aragonese are not supported (the API response was connection termination). Do you have any idea why is that?
