Very slow loading time for websites and other services related to cloudflare

What is the name of the domain?

What is the issue you’re encountering

I am having huge issues with cloudflare websites and other services as well. I approached my ISP (German Telekom) due to the issue. Sites sometimes take up to 8 minutes to load and are therefore not usable at all. The support team of my ISP send me this response, which tells, that the problem is on cloudflare’s side. Here is the (translated) response from my ISP: Unfortunately, we could only analyze the to-trace as the backtrace is missing Based on the backtrace, we were able to determine that the error is not in the DTAG network. Packet losses occur in Cloudflare’s network; Cloudflare would have to be approached here Unfortunately, we are missing the backtrace The backtrace clearly shows that the traffic is routed to the Telekom AS3320 network via a busy peering in VIE-SB6. Unfortunately, there is nothing we as Telekom can do here. The customer can only contact the provider of the destination IP so that they can send the traffic to our network via a different peering.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

Using VPN will resolve it in some cases, but is not a solution at all and just a workaround.

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

It is a network related issue. The more traffic is handled, the higher the issue. Normally, it gets worse at like 18-21 o’clock.
