A few weeks ago, I submitted a request through Google Forms to have my bot included in Cloudflare’s Verified Bots list. Later, I also found the option to submit the request through the Cloudflare dashboard in personal accounts, so I did it there as well. Today, I submitted the request again.

My bot is a feed fetcher, and it meets all the requirements for verification. However, I have never received a response, and my bot is still being blocked on websites using Cloudflare.

I have seen other users reporting the same issue (Verified bot application response time), so I wanted to ask:

• What is the expected response time for the Verified Bot application process?
• Is there a way to check the status of my request?
• Should I keep resubmitting, or is there another process I should follow?

I appreciate any guidance on this matter.

Is there a way to check the status of my request?

My best guess is you should receive some email from Cloudflare about your request and should be able to see your bot being added to the Verified Bot list.

I haven’t received any email from Cloudflare, and my bot is still being blocked. Is there any way to check the status of my request other than waiting?

Still no response from Cloudflare. Our bot is simply fetching RSS feeds, which are explicitly meant to be read by bots, yet it keeps getting blocked.

Is there any way to escalate this issue or get an update on the verification process?

Update: Our bot has now been added to the Verified Bots list and is no longer being blocked. We never received a confirmation email, so if you’re in the same situation, check if your bot is already allowlisted — even if you haven’t been contacted.
