What is the issue you’re encountering

I’ve tried to change my account email address, but the verification email is never received. I suspect my new email somehow ended up in the suppression list.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I opened a case (#01341603) on January 9th with Cloudflare support explaining the issue but I’ve just received some automated response with the instructions to change the account email address (which are exactly what I followed in the first place). As I explained in the case, I suspect (I’ve seen many other similar cases) that somehow my (new) email address ended up on the suppression list, so I never received (and will not receive) the verification email. I’ve tried many times, requesting “Send verification email again”. If this is the case (can somebody please check?), then I need that email address to be removed from the suppression list so I can try again.

I am sorry to hear this happen. It could happen that your e-mail address is on the suppression list.

May I also ask if you’re successfully receiving other emails from Cloudflare to those particular e-mail addresses?

May I ask if the email address onto which you’re not receiving verification emails is the same for your Community account and Cloudflare account, or you’re using a different one? :thinking:

In the meantine, just to be sure please make sure you allow all emails from [email protected] and [email protected] to prevent any issue.

Is it the email address within the @machimind.com domain name or some other as you’re using ProtonMail (by what I can see related to the DNS records of the particular domain name)? I advise not to share it here in a reply, just to confirm. Thank you.

It appears that the new email address was listed in the suppression list. The email address has been removed from the list, and please attempt to verifying the email again.

It’s working now. I’ve received the verification email, verified it, and successfully logged in my account with the new email address.

I think I have the same issue. I verified my e-mail in community page. But i’m not receiving from dashboard page. Help please.

As I said, I’ve successfully changed my Cloudflare account email address. However, the email in my Cloudflare Community account (here) is still my previous email address. I’ve looked for a way to also change it (although I thought it’d synchronize with my Cloudflare account) but to no avail. In my Community profile I see “Email can be updated from authentication provider” but I don’t know what that exactly means.

Can anyone point me to the instructions for how to change the email address on the Cloudflare Community?

Found it!

Steps (in case this can be useful to somebody else):

  1. Log out from your Cloudflare account
  2. Clear your browser cache
  3. Log in again (with new email address)

What seems to be a new Community account is created, and the new email address has to be verified, but after that it looks like it logs you in the previous account, with the email address now updated.
