Velero backups fail with this error

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

Opened a bug with Velero for the same

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

  • Add Cloudflare R2 as a Velero backup location
  • Run a backup, observe failure with log as above

I reviewed the error you are receiving and that is an Amazon header used for authentication

If possible I would suggest using Presigned URLs

As that should avoid any authentication headers.
