I havenât really seen how very old browsers handle gzip as if itâs that old, then other stuff supported like HTTPS SNI, HTTP/2, HTTP/3, TLSv1.2/TLSv1.3 and CF free universal sslâs ECC 256bit ECDSA based SSL certificates would probably not work either ?
And with alot of sites and services deprecating TLSv1.0 and TLSv1.1 soon, that would leave very old browsers out in the cold.
Effectively, youâd have more important issues to worry about for such very old web browsers, than whether or not it supported gzip
