Using your own SSL with cloudflare

Im quite new to SSL so would like some advice.

I have bought a wild card SSL for my ‘domain.uk’ it is valid now till 12/24/2020

When i visit ‘domain.uk’ in Chrome browser and click the padlock it shows the certification information but these details do not match my SLL.

Chrome shows
SSL issued to sni.cloudflare.com
Valid till 29/07/2021

My site is on Wordpress and I setup the wildcard SSL using Cpanel.

I have read this:

But if you HAVE to use cloudflares SSL then is there any point me paying for my own SSL certificate for my domain?

You definitely need a certificate on your server for a secure connection. If they let you upload a cert, you can use a free Origin CA Cert from Cloudflare.
