Using same email address in routing as MS account

I have email routing set up for various domains and now want to do the final domain.

The final domain at mydomain.com has two users, vis. [email protected] and [email protected]

We have two outlook accounts (Microsoft Accounts) which are created using the domain names, i.e. [email protected] and [email protected]. These are fully valid MS Personal Accounts and not Work accounts

I am disabling O365 Business wherein I also have those same email addresses as Work Accounts in O365. I plan to let these accounts die with the end of the O365 Business subscription.

My question is as follows:

I want to create Email Routing for the mydomain.com and want to verify that setting a rule for [email protected] in CF can be routed to [email protected] (the MS Account) as target?

Does anyone have experience of this or can anyone confirm this should work please?
