Using Proxy for Email CNAME Records

Hi thugs,

I am recently switching to a new email provider and I wanted to know if I can proxy the email CNAME records.

I proxied the email CNAME records and had no issues, although my host said explicitly i should NOT proxy the email CNAME records.

It seems that I already got put on some spam email lists without a proxy enabled, because some of my colleagues are seeing my emails go straight to spam, so I have enabled the proxy again.

Any ideas about this?

Is it wise to proxy email CNAME records for your mail servers? Or is it strongly advisable not to do that?

Thanks in advance for sharing your experience!!
