Using domain as an origin for load balancer

When creating a load balancer the input for the origins can be an IP or domain, in the case of using a domain pointing to multiple IP addresses, how the traffic is balanced or what algorithm is used (round-robin, lastconn?

For example, if using 2 origins:

a.example.org --> resolves to (10.0.0.1, 10.0.0.2)  with TTL of 60s
b.example.org --> resolves to (10.0.0.3,  10.0.0.4)

Will the load balancer use round-robin for the origins so that when hits for example a.example.org will dispatch traffic from both endpoints (10.0.0.1 & 10.0.0.2) and obey the defined TTL or it will only use the last connected server and impose a fixed TTL?
