Using CF with 3rd party hosting?

I recently transferred some domains to CF and would like to continue using them with 3rd party hosting. When I had the domains registered with Namecheap, I was able to edit the nameservers to point to the 3rd party - now that the domain is with CF, I can’t and I am getting a 522 error.

What do I need to do on my end to keep my site registered here and continue to use my hosting company?

Did you mean you can’t change the DNS records in Cloudflare?

If your domain transferred to Cloudflare, you can ONLY use Cloudflare nameserver. Point DNS to your hosting instead.
Currently you cannot change nameserver with domain transferred to Cloudflare.
