Using a Let's Encrypt SSL Certificate on Subdomain through Cloudflare?

I’m not sure if this a hosting company setting or a Cloudflare setting. I have installed a Let’s Encrypt SSL certificate on my subdomain through my hosting company. I have my main domain and this subdomain I am talking about using Clouldflare. Would the SSL error be a Cloudflare setting or hosting company setting? If it is a Cloudflare setting how can I fix that?

What SSL error or error code are you getting?

It is a good idea to have the LetsEncrypt certificate on your server because now the connection between CF and your server is encrypted. Make sure your the SSL setting in the Crypto tab is set to Full Strict.

I just noticed that it can take up to 24 hours for SSL certificate to be issued and it might be about 2-3 hours under 24 hours. What does crypto setting to Full(strict) do so I can understand it better?

Hi @sean.vanzant,

I summarised that in this tutorial post, along with the other SSL modes :slightly_smiling_face:
