Using a Let's Encrypt SSL Certificate on Subdomain through Cloudflare?

I’m not sure if this a hosting company setting or a Cloudflare setting. I have installed a Let’s Encrypt SSL certificate on my subdomain through my hosting company. I have my main domain and this subdomain I am talking about using Clouldflare. Would the SSL error be a Cloudflare setting or hosting company setting? If it is a Cloudflare setting how can I fix that?

What SSL error or error code are you getting?

It is a good idea to have the LetsEncrypt certificate on your server because now the connection between CF and your server is encrypted. Make sure your the SSL setting in the SSL/TLS app is set to Full Strict.

I just noticed that it can take up to 24 hours for SSL certificate to be issued and it might be about 2-3 hours under 24 hours. What does crypto setting to Full(strict) do so I can understand it better?

Hi @sean.vanzant,

I summarised that in this tutorial post, along with the other SSL modes :slightly_smiling_face:
