Sounds like you have a site on Cloudflare’s network which is violating the terms of service. You should have received an email, you’ll want to review it and Cloudflare’s terms of service for things such as streaming.

I have the exact same thing suddenly happening since yesterday, when it has been working perfectly for years. Since the website is open source, I might as well share the contents of it:

What exactly is seen as offending here? The wording in the TOS is also not very clear, as it for example says β€œdispropriate amount of pictures”.

I think it’s a cloudflare error.

Some are saying they can’t access the site as they keep being given this file to download.

My site has lots of images

So how did you fixed this? I have the same issue as you. can you provide the links for this issue? Can only find your topic. Thanks! By the way can you share me your Skype id…

Same error. Started to happen same day as OP.
Some users get this, some dont.

Feels like a cloudflare error, but i cant pinpoint the cause or solution.

Also getting this error - how to resolve? TIA

If you want to convince someone that this is a bug and that you aren’t actually violating the ToS, maybe share links to where you get the ToS violation messages and explain what your website does.

So you guys still can’t find the cause of this problem? Please share if you find a way to fix it. Thanks!

We’re still getting this. Is there anyone from cloudflare to help? If a couple of people here are replying to this thread then it is possibly affecting a great deal more

I shared the entire website’s content above, and here is the repository of the Angular website as well. It is a simple static website with no video content whatsoever. Visitors get hit by stream.ts on page load (ie. nothing ever rendered, nor did HTML load).

The only thing helping is moving the website off Cloudflare, and I’m sure that this can’t be the solution.

I can vouch for this.

On Iphone it shows this

on desktop it asks to download stream.ts

Redditors are noticing it on a torrent site

My website is now starting to have the same issue. I just host a basic image hosting service as a hobby. No video is present on the website, only static content and have received no e-mail from Cloudflare about any ToS violations.

That sounds very much like a ToS violation.

Wouldn’t CF send an email if it was ToS?
I thought it was large images that were a ToS issue?

You are allowed to use the CDN for pictures that appear on your website, within reason.
Rule of thumb: If your picture is there to add value to the site, it’s ok. If the site is there to distribute the picture, it’s not.
Keep in mind I don’t work for Cloudflare, so this is definitely not a hard rule.

https://www.cloudflare.com/service-specific-terms-application-services/#content-delivery-network-terms

Interesting.

But even if there is a TOS issue I don’t think the site should break with CF. Does look like with quite a few having broken sites that it’s CF issue.

Is there a page in CF that tells you of any ToS issues?
