Use Netlify DNS instead?

I transferred my domain over to Cloudflare because I just want to use them as a registrar only. Is that not possible?

When I added in custom NS records for Netlify’s servers, Cloudflare’s NS still remain. DNS checker still shows domains pointing at Cloudflare.

Unfortunately, you cannot change name servers when using Cloudflare Registrar. This is mentioned in the Domain Registration Agreement:

6.1. Nameservers . Registrant agrees to use Cloudflare’s nameservers. REGISTRANT ACKNOWLEDGES AND AGREES THAT IT MAY NOT CHANGE THE NAMESERVERS ON THE REGISTRAR SERVICES, AND THAT IT MUST TRANSFER TO A THIRD PARTY REGISTRAR IF IT WISHES TO CHANGE NAMESERVERS.

Netlify has a guide on using a custom domain with external DNS :slightly_smiling_face:
