I sent someone to my website yesterday, and they were using a PC with MS Edge. They typed in my URL without www and it did not resolve. I went into my DNS settings and noticed the “An A, AAAA…is not present” message, but since I cannot add an A record (using GCP) I used CNAME flattening.
I also set up a page rule as follows: jondujon.com/ Forwarding URL: (Status Code: 301 - Permanent Redirect, Url: https://www.jondujon.com/$1).
I also tried going to jondujon.com on a bunch of different browsers.
Some forward, some don’t. [Firefox desktop resolves, Firefox mobile does not.] What am I doing wrong?
I can’t confirm this behavior. Your root domain is properly redirecting to HTTPS showing a Cloudflare SNI certificate.
Try clearing your browser and local DNS cache
It was the DNS cache on my iPhone. I’ve driven myself half mad for no reason whatsoever.
Thank you so much, @MarkMeyer.
