What is the issue you’re encountering
I’m trying to add an a record to connect my domain to shopify , but it’s showing as a ‘reserved IP’ despite removing the proxy.
What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?
I’ve deleted and re-added the record, but the same message appears each time.
What feature, service or problem is this related to?
DNS not responding/updating
Which IP address? Did you make sure to set it to DNS Only?
I have it set to DNS only, and the IP address is Shopify ’s (23.227.38.65). The site is resolving at apexperformance.net , but it’s still showing as being proxied on Shopify ’s site, and still showing as ‘reserved IP’ in Cloudflare. Very strange …
There have been a few reports of Shopify reporting issues with DNS records, even though there’s nothing wrong.
If it’s , then that should take care of any actual issues.
