Updated my A record to Shopify - showing as 'reserved IP' and won't connect

I’m trying to add an a record to connect my domain to shopify, but it’s showing as a ‘reserved IP’ despite removing the proxy.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I’ve deleted and re-added the record, but the same message appears each time.

What feature, service or problem is this related to?

DNS not responding/updating

Which IP address? Did you make sure to set it to :grey: DNS Only?

I have it set to DNS only, and the IP address is Shopify’s (23.227.38.65). The site is resolving at apexperformance.net, but it’s still showing as being proxied on Shopify’s site, and still showing as ‘reserved IP’ in Cloudflare. Very strange …

There have been a few reports of Shopify reporting issues with DNS records, even though there’s nothing wrong.

If it’s :grey:, then that should take care of any actual issues.
