Update domain MX

I ask Cloudflare support to update domain MX to mx.ipage.com

Hi @cbelite12, it is not possible for Cloudflare Customer Support to alter your settings or records, you’ll need to add that MX record on your DNS tab.

HI
already added in my DNS record, because i can’t open my webmail in my host

Webmail doesn’t rely on MX records.

As a general rule of thumb, all your DNS records here should match all the DNS records at your host.

What happens when you try to open your webmail?

the administrator in ipage tells me to ask Cloudflare support to update the MX domain on mx.ipage.com

What’s your domain?

And here are some instructions for updating DNS records:

I want to contact bella.ns.Cloudflare.com and I ask them to update

the MX record to mx.ipage.com with Priority as 30…

Sorry, @cbelite12, nothing has changed, you need to do that update as described. And, please keep the conversation in one thread so as not to cause a loss of focus on your posts nor on the posts from other folks looking for help.

You may need to change “smtp.ipage.com” to “mx.ipage.com”. You mentioned the mx hostname earlier.
