I recently changed my hosting provider and transfered my domain name to this new hosting provider.
The transfert is completed and the migration is finished.
Now I need to update cloudflare settings to point at the new DNS.
Could you please tell how am I going to do that ?
The cloudflare name servers are transfered to the name servers at my new hosting provider and my new domain provider but cloudflare still points to the old one.
The domain name is solofood.fr and it’s currently registered at ovh at Cloudflare. I changed the hosting provider to planethoster and I have a new IP for my site but I do not know how to update the Cloudflare settings. Currently the name servers in the new hosting provider are those of Cloudflare.
In the old settings I had put the IP of Cloudflare into the DNS of my old hosting provider and the name servers of Cloudflare.
I want to do the same thing with the new hosting provider but I don’t know how?
Should I delete all current values that point to the old hosting provider and recreate new ones for the following records using the @ symbol ?
A Record
AAAA Record
CNAME Record
MX Record
TXT Record
I al really sorry to ask all these basic questions but I know nothing about DNS and when I installed cloudflare for my previous hosting provider it was automatic and pretty straightforward, now it’s not I have to do all that manually.
