Cloudflare registrar says I have unverified contacts after transferring domain

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I have a handful of domains that I transferred to Cloudflare from 123-reg.
According to the Cloudflare dashboard, “Identity Protect Limited” is the the contact for these domains and I don’t seem to be able to change it.
As the name suggests, Identity Protect is a generic contact name used to protect the owner’s true identity, which is standard practice for .uk domains registered with 123-reg.
The email address associated with each domain is a randomly-generated one (eg. [email protected]) and it’s not possible to send correspondence to that address.
I contacted 123-reg and they understandably said there’s nothing they can do about it because the domains are no longer registered to them.
But that also means the request to update the contact is never going to be approved at their end.
