I am having some difficulty connecting pages to my GitHub repository (it never moves on to the setup and builds process). I found a CF article that suggests that it might help to “unpublish” the GitHub repository. I found the CF unpublish button but it is in a ‘Danger Zone’ which is a little scary. So I just have 2 questions… 1) if I do the unpublish will it cause any problems (make any unwanted changes) to the GitHub repository? I’m thinking ‘no’ but would like to confirm. 2) if I do the unpublish can I try to reconnect to this same GitHub repository at a future time (later the same day even)?
Removing your Github Repo from connecting to Cloudflare will not cause any changes to your GitHub repository.
Yes, you can reconnect to the same GitHub repository at any time after disconnecting. Just go through the process of setting up a new project on Cloudflare Pages and select the repository again.
Thank you so much for the reply… It worked just as you said…but… I reconnected my gitHub repository and the ‘Begin Setup’ button is still disabled. I am in the process of transferring my domain to CF so perhaps that is why??? … OR… is there something wrong with my repository? Any thoughts about why I am unable to build and deploy my gitHub repository in CF pages would be greatly appreciated.
Hello! Just wanted to let you know that you can close out this issue. I have been able to successfully deploy my Reactjs app to Cloudflare using my gitHub repository.
