Unknown cache status

HI,

I am getting unknown as a Cloudflare cache status most of the time.
Out of 10 only 1 or 2 request are hit rest are unknown,
What is unknown cache status

Exactly which Cache header is showing this? Can you post the domain name where this is happening?

That’s not a Cloudflare header. The good news is that won’t interfere with Cloudflare cache. What does the cf-cache-status say?

@dienilno,

Unknown = an item which isn’t being cached. This would be an html page (for example) when you don’t have cache everything enabled or an asset which would normally be cached where you have the cache level set to bypass.
