When I see graph of “Unique Visitors” in website, there is “Total Unique Visitors Previous 30 days” which show e.g. 100k.
But each day in graph shows number as well. And I did sum all the numbers, the result was 190k.
I changed the real numbers, but this ratio between them is real.
Whether I visit your website once, twice or three times today from the same browser, that would be 1 unique visitor. If I visit your site again tomorrow, that will show as a unique visitor for tomorrow. But in the monthly statistics, All my visits from today and tomorrow will be counted as 1 unique visitor. Hence the discrepancy between the sum and the monthly total.
