Uncached Requests

#1

In Analytics it shows Cached and Uncached Requests. CloudFlare Analytics shows my requests are split evenly between the two.

What is the significance of this metric?

The help states that "UnCached Requests that are answered directly by your origin server " does this mean they bypass CloudlFlare?

Is there a goal that is an ideal for this metric?

Thanks

All requests go through Cloudflare. The “cached” vs “uncached” distinguishes between content that we were able to serve directly from our cache and something we had to retrieve from your server before passing it to the user.

You’ll generally want to serve as much as possible from the cache, but it varies considerably by site and content. So we don’t really have a goal number for you.
