What is the issue you’re encountering
When trying to visit the website boards.4chan.org from my home private network I now receive an error page from Cloudflare telling me that my browser is out of date even though it is fully updated. The only way around this page is by connecting to the local public Wi-Fi and revisiting the site from there. When doing that the website loads normally as it should. This problem happens regardless of what browser I try to use and regardless of if I have adblock enabled or disabled.
May I ask what kind of a Web browser and version you’re using?
Are there any differences if you’re using any other Web browser?
Have you tried clearing your Web browser cache?
How about using a Incognito (Private) Window?
I have tried using Firefox, Edge and Chrome. I have also tried using two different computers and my cellular phone when it is connected to my Wi-Fi. None of them are able to get on to the website. But all of them are able to get on when I connect to the local public Wi-Fi. I have tried both clearing my cache and using incognito mode.
No one has replied in a while so I will update my reply to this message and mention that I am using the most up to date version of each browser I have tested with. Even my cellular phone is unable to get past that screen when trying to visit the website from my home network.
Hello, and yes. I am getting the same error in each browser, both ones with extensions and ones without. I am also getting the same error on the other PC that I checked the website on and on my cell phone which I don’t even know if you can install extensions on.
Sadly that is why I am here, my Google searching for this only brought up stories of people turning off extensions, or the problem resolving itself after a few days. I am coming up on a month into this and my only solution still is using a VPN every time I connect or switching to the local public Wi-Fi but both of those solutions aren’t really a fix and result in my download speeds for anything else I am doing at the time plummeting.
