Unable to verify CNAME record

Hi,

I am installing a security certificate for our Load Balancer via AWS. AWS asks for a CNAME record to be present in the domain to verify the domain ownership.

I added the CNAME pair given by AWS but I am unable to verify it. I used DNS Checker for verification. The ‘CNAME record’ is getting verified as a ‘A record’ but not as a ‘CNAME record’.

The CNAME flattening option is set to root domain only.

In your DNS settings.
