You can’t change the domain’s nameservers by adding records in the DNS. There’s two sets of Cloudflare nameservers resolving for your domain…

If not, you may be trying to add your domain to a different account in which case you need to do this…

If you are in the correct account, you will need raise a Cloudflare Registrar support ticket to have the nameservers fixed.

NS lookup shows still being linked to former servers used in initial account set up, but getting these instructions. Registrar was always Cloudflare. Sounds like i need to put in a ticket.

I’m afraid this is known to cause problems like the one you’re describing. The iCloud login seems to lose its relation with the Cloudflare account on such changes.

Could you just try Login and account issues · Cloudflare Fundamentals docs and see if you receive anything to the old email?
