Unable to update nameservers for Cloudflare Registrar domain

What is the issue you’re encountering

I registered my domain (simyou.ai) directly through Cloudflare Registrar. Currently, my Cloudflare dashboard is instructing me to change my nameservers from: Copy Edit quinton.ns.cloudflare.com amalia.ns.cloudflare.com to: Copy Edit edna.ns.cloudflare.com greg.ns.cloudflare.com However, because my domain is registered directly through Cloudflare Registrar, I do not have the option to manually edit these nameservers. Therefore, my domain is stuck in a “pending” or “invalid nameservers” state.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I attempted to follow Cloudflare’s instructions to manually update my nameservers but discovered that because Cloudflare is my registrar, manual changes are not permitted. Therefore, I’m unable to resolve this issue without assistance from Cloudflare Support.

Log into my Cloudflare dashboard for domain simyou.ai.

Navigate to the Overview page.

The dashboard instructs me to change nameservers.

Go to the DNS page—no option to manually change nameservers because Cloudflare Registrar controls this setting internally.

Two different sets of cloudflare nameservers is a very good indicator you are logged into the wrong account. Check the domain has nameservers here, DNS Propagation Checker - Global DNS Testing Tool. If the two you see on whatsmydns are not the two you see shown on this page, https://dash.cloudflare.com/?to=/:account/:zone/dns then you are most certainly in the wrong account.

The only way you’ll be able to regain access is by having access to the email address of the other account. I’d start with this link, if you don’t know the email. Do that and then check any other email accounts for an email on gaining access.
