Unable to update email. Email already in use (Code: 1057)

Previously had email address as admin, then deleted that member. Now need to use that email address by changing Super Admin email to that address. Now getting error: Unable to update email. Email already in use (Code: 1057)

You’d need to change the email on that new account to something else so you can then swap to it on the main account.

I deleted the new account, but the system is still showing that the email from the deleted account is already in use.

Oh, that would be why. It can take up to a year to be able to use that email again after deleting an account.
