I am attempted to transfer a domain name to another provider. When I go to unlock the domain name I get the below error:
I did try and unlock the domain name last week and I got an email stating that it had been successfully unlocked but then got a second email stating that the Domain Transfer was rejected.
When I’ve gone to try again it’s not letting me unlock it.
I did have DNSSec on the domain but that’s been disabled. There’s been no changes to the domain in the last 60 days.
cloudflares .uk setup is clunky and full of bugs (for example, there is no ‘auth code’ stuff for .uk domains).
If you’ve not got as far as entering the IPSTag for the domain, then I’d open a ticket (if you can, the system is temperamental).
If you got as far as entering the IPSTag and it returned an error, I found that in fact the IPSTag had been changed anyway (assuming you set up the transfer at the receiving registrar).
Thank you for the response. I’ve checked the IPS Tag this morning and you’re correct, it actually did get updated but it’s still listed in the Cloudflare Manage Domains section. Seems to be some kind of bug.
I’ll leave this ticket open for a little while incase someone at Cloudflare picks it up.
