Unable to transfer in .com domains?

Hi

We are getting a failure whenever we try to transfer in .com domains. They are unlocked and we have the correct transfer codes.

It just shows a page with a certificate and a heading which says “Something went wrong”

Against the domain, it says “try again later”?

Any thoughts?

Thanks

If it doesn’t work again “later”, open a support ticket:

Thanks @sdayman,

I have been trying for 3 days so seems to be something wrong.

I’ll contact support as you suggest.

Hi @euan.fielder, the error message is not that helpful, sorry. I noticed your ticket and am cc’d on it. I see you made some changes to the domains and whois shows updates in the last couple of days.

Did the updates fall into any of these categories?

You cannot transfer a domain name to a different registrar within 60 days of making changes to the registrant name , organization or email address (or the Administrative Contact email address, if there is no registrant email address).

I pulled that from, https://www.icann.org/resources/pages/name-holder-faqs-2017-10-10-en#:~:text=You%20cannot%20transfer%20a%20domain,is%20no%20registrant%20email%20address.

Hi

I agree, the error message is not helpful at all.

All that changed on the domains was the name servers prior to moving them to you as that is what is required.

Thanks

Euan
