Unable to remove website from Cloudflare after domain expired

What is the issue you’re encountering

A domain I registered via Cloudflare expired intentionally. I still had the website routed via Cloudflare at the time. When I attemp to remove the website from my Cloudflare account, I receive the above error.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

Relogged. Tested this with other domains that were expired (having the same issue).
