I am trying to remove the domain a1c1.uk from R2, but I receive the error: “Attempting to remove a custom domain that is registered with Cloud Connector.” I cannot remove the binding, and it prevents me from adding an A record to point my domain to SiteGround.
What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?
- I checked the R2 dashboard and tried to remove the domain from “Custom Domains.”
- I checked Cloudflare Zero Trust, Access, Workers, and other services to see if the domain was actively used.
- I searched for “Cloud Connector” settings but could not find any related options in my dashboard.
- I attempted to edit or delete the R2 record in the DNS settings, but it is locked.
What are the steps to reproduce the issue?
- Go to R2 → Settings → Custom Domains.
- Attempt to remove the domain
a1c1.uk. - The error “Attempting to remove a custom domain that is registered with Cloud Connector” appears, and the action cannot proceed.
