Unable to figure out how to redirect my domain to an external website.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I tried to redirect my domain following step by step instructions on the cloudflare website. I am trying to figure out how to redirect nhstyleco.com to J's Closet (@nhstyles) | Poshmark. I get almost to the end of the tutorial then it won’t let me save it, because I need a valid ipv6 address, or something that I am missing.

Honestly I am really lost here. I have never had to go through so much convoluted steps just for a simple external domain redirect. Please help me. I am up shits creek without a paddle here.

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

Not know what the f*ck you are doing and be new to cloudflare like me.

For a General > Rules to work, you need a DNS A record.

To create, create an A record called @ (that will change to your domain name when you save it) with IP 192.0.2.1 and ensure it is proxied :orange:.

Without a DNS record, the request won’t ever reach Cloudflare for the redirect to take place.

I have done as you asked. I am now getting connection error code timeout 522. I have no idea what I am doing wrong.

I get a 522 on www.nhstyleco.com and a white page on nhstyleco.com, can you unproxy (:orange: to :grey: by clicking edit) the AAAA record and see if you also get a blank page? Sorry for the issues.
