Did you follow the steps to add the www subdomain as a custom domain to your project?
I’d recommend just redirecting from www to your apex domain though.
i added the record manually it didnt work. but when i used custom domains to add it. then it worked fine.

It wouldn’t work. Adding it as a custom domain does not only create the record but also takes care of the server-side configuration.
