Hello. For family reasons I was complicated for a few months and some of my own domains have expired (I am a web developer). Lately, I’ve been moving some of the domains of my own and from my customers that I manage to Cloudflare but forgot to turn on auto-renew and discovered a moment ago that two domains had expired.
I just renewed one of them (teranux.com) but the other domain is not possible for me to renew it from the Cloudflare dashboard. If you could activate that option, I will do it right away, I see at https://lookup.icann.org/ that it is still in a period where it can be recovered, as I did with the other.
PS: The contact e-mail address in Cloudflare is reg@mini… but precisely because I do not have the domain available I cannot handle the emails under that domain. I await your response, thank you.

In the email they are telling me that the account from which I write them is not the one that CloudFlare has registered as my username, in my message I am clarifying, precisely, that having the domain expired, I cannot send or receive emails under that domain.
I am afraid, for the security and privacy of the account, it is important we work with the account owner, hence we will need you to figure out a way to reply from the account associated with the domain.

That’s impossible if the domain’s registration has expired. I thought there were other ways to prove ownership.

He said he renewed the other domain teranux.com
from that very same account [email protected]
, so I am wondering he should be able to login to that account and reply to us, right. All he needs to do is login from the account on CF and reply to us so we can verify ownership.
Oh! I get it. I thought you meant reply from the email account. My mistake. Then that should be easy-peasy.

Ok. I asked you by email what do you need me to do. I have logged in here using my CF account and I am sending you this message (the same way I did when I started this ticket). You asked me to email you and then put the ticket number here, and I did it. Now I’m going here again and asking the same question: If what you are most concerned about is making sure that I am the owner of the domain, what do you need me to do? But I can’t use the email account under that domain, because since it’s expired I can’t manage it, precisely.
I was able to renew the other expired domain (teranux). Do you want me to send you an email from there? Another thing I can do is upload a file to the server of any of the domains that I admin, so that you are sure that I am me. Whatever to resolve this issue and renew the domain, thank you @Purnima .
Since you can still log into your account, you can open a new ticket under the domain owner’s (that’s you) account. Make sure to post the new ticket # here.
- Go to dash.cloudflare.com
- Click Support → Contact Support in the upper right corner
- Scroll down to the bottom and click the “Get more help” button
- Choose the domain from the list and a Summary of the problem.
- Click Next until you get to the support form, then fill it out and Send
I cant´find the “Contact Support” option by clicking at the Support button. Any way, I think I find the “Contact support” link at the footpage. Then I went to https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us but I can´t find the “Get more help” button. I am sending you here two screenshots
It looks like they’re playing hard to get.
From that top screen, click Sign In. After that, see if there’s a My Activites in the dropdown in that very same spot. Also, try the very bottom of a Support page, scroll to the bottom and see if there’s a “Submit a request” button.

Sorry for the delayed response here, I was off on the weekend. I see my colleague has created an internal ticket for the domain to be restored. I am chasing the team to get this restored and renewed for you asap.

I see that it is already recovered and working. I have already configured some DNSs and then I will have to see the issue of DNSs for external webmail but for now my website is already working correctly. Thank you so so so much!!
I wanted to thank and leave a record that the problem was solved and the user (me) very satisfied with the attention, thank you!
